Share Your Story and Inspire
At the age of 14, I discovered the pleasure of reading. I was hooked on Victor Hugo, Marquis de Sade, Marcel Pagnol, Honoré de Balzac, Guy de Maupassant, Tolstoy and Chekhov.
At the age of 17, I wrote my first manuscript. The piece was so personal and I was too afraid to show it to anyone. You see, I used to be criticized for my overly sensual writing style back in the day. So my first "book" never made its public appearance. Years and many French literary masterpieces later, I wrote THE STOPOVER which was just as personal, just as painful and cathartic to write. And this time, I was older, braver and wiser to actually send it to a publisher. Along the way, I met so many women who told me how much they could relate to Sandrine's story. Many found it relatable and uplifting.
So here is to all the stories that touch us, uplift us and make us better. We all have them. Share your story with the world. There will always be someone who will find it inspiring...
